The Creative Hub Mental Health Support Initiative in Nova Scotia
The Creative Hub Mental Health Support Initiative in Nova Scotia is a program aimed at providing comprehensive mental health support to immigrants, newcomers, and international students.
It offers online counselling, educational webinars, support groups, and an online resource hub to address the unique challenges faced by these groups and foster a healthier and more inclusive community.
Anticipated outcomes include improved mental well-being, increased knowledge and coping skills, enhanced community engagement and integration, wide accessibility and usage of resources, transparent reporting, and potential scalability and expansion.
The first phase of this project is made possible by a grant from the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia.
